It is normal for people to justify their actions...

But we've got to accept responsibility and tackle life head on.

That's why I don't agree with the idea of an after life of pure bliss...that's okay to just...shirk off the problems in our life cause we think that when we die, we'll go to heaven.

God does not look well upon people who are irresponsible and indifferent.

And whenever we are told...we are doing something wrong...we justify ourselves...give reasons why we "have" to be sad...and where words of encouragement are interpreted as words of "attack."

The kids of the world demonstrate such amazing heart!

More heart than most people can ever experience or acquire.

So we must learn NOT to justify ourselves...that's just building a wall around us...a wall of excuses, shame, and un-motivation. God cannot save those who don't accept themselves or accept life. And neither will friends be able to reach you.

Ever meet those type of people? They are always putting their guard up and can't tell the difference between friends and enemies.

Sometimes we must listen, and look at ourselves REAL hard...to accept and desire change is far better than denial and not improving.

Many people are in denial of themselves because they do not want to change.

But we must if we want to grow...

Like God's Grace...he is the sun and water...but only the plant can grow on it's own.

glad to hear that you found someone to break down the walls and free you from your fears; everyone builds up those emotional barriers and when we get hurt we tend to rebuild them and hide ourselves for fear of being hurt once again. stay happy with him so you dont rebuild those walls, that grow like a coffin closing in over you, sheltering you from the light, the happiness; and the warmth you feel inside
