Thoughts for those we think.

Posted by sherockachild22 - October 6th, 2008

While your lost in your thoughts, think for those others.
Keep them in your mind from the smallest of things.
Remind yourself of how they make you feel.
When your lost in your thoughts remember those who fought for you.
Think of how they gave their life for what you hold true.
Keep in mind what they sacraficed for you.
When your lost in your thoughts remember those who stand by you.
Remember the times they stuck by your side thick or thin?
Keep hold of those memories that lay within.
When your lost in your thoughts remember those who made you cry.
Keep in mind when things got tough they left you in despair.
Remember the times when they were never there.
When your lost in your thoughts remember those who made you laugh.
Remember the simplest of things would make you laugh.
Keep in mind the smile on their face when they made you smile.
When your lost in your thoughts remember them all.
Even the smallest, the smallest of small.
Because a friend is a friend no matter how small.

Thoughts for those we think.

Calvin and Hobbes YES!

Ha, i know cool, i love the comics. ^^

Nice Poem...really sweet.

FUN Fact: Bill Waterson's inspiration to Hobbes was from his Cat "Sprite"

A comic was written to honor her death....something about meeting in your dreams.

Susie Derkins was based on his wife when they were kids.

Thankyou...

Awsome.

You know...reading more carefully...it sounds simular to that

"Horton Hears a Who" book

The last three lines were 'inspired' by that...
I was just watching the movie. ^__^

HAHA!

Jim Carry must've been Funny!

Seriously though...the rest of the poem was REALLY good!

If you have enough...you might be able to publish them.

BTW: Open Mic Night is where you "read" poetry out-loud to an audience.

Usually for adults as these events are held in coffee shops or Jazz clubs.
But your school could have one too.

I'm a real Beat-Nick myself.....daddy yo!

A Beat-Nicky is for girls....I think...

Haha, awsome.

I dunno, i don't think they are that good...

Ha, i could never do that...
I'm not to good with speaking in a croud or standing infront of a group of people.

i wouldn't be surprised. ^__^

Is.. is that Calvin and Hobbes?
D:

Yup.
